THE OPPORTUNITY

Kryton International, a highly respected and successful world innovator in concrete waterproofing and durability solutions, is seeking a new CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO). Reporting directly to the President and CEO, this C-suite head of Finance has a seat at the executive table and is integral to the continued upward trajectory of the company in an industry with exceptional upside. The CFO will be responsible for financial management, guidance, and compliance to support Kryton’s corporate operations and deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. As a member of the senior leadership team, the CFO will help to formulate the current and future strategic direction of the company.

As an inspiring financial leader, you have solid experience in driving a company’s financial success by developing and implementing short and long term strategic objectives, in line with global business strategy. As a contributor to the senior leadership team, you are experienced in making sound recommendations and offering tactical solutions to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.

 

You are an experienced hiring manager with exceptional coaching, management, and leadership skills. You understand what it takes to create and maintain trust within a cohesive team. You are collaborative, highly responsive, and accountable to your peers in support of the vision and strategy while modeling strong values with employees and other stakeholders. You successfully manage your own team of finance professionals to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of departmental services to the rest of the company. Your strong interpersonal skills make you successful at leading cross-departmental teams and initiatives.

 

You are at a point in your career where you are interested in taking on a new challenge that will leverage your global exposure and experience. This role will interest you as it will provide you the opportunity to handle multiple companies, multiple manufacturing locations, take charge of our international transactions, oversee our brand new state-of-the-art ERP system, plus play a significant role in the growth of Kryton International.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum seven years of proven experience as Chief Financial Officer, Financial Officer, Director of Finance or comparable role.

  • 10 + years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, with strategic planning and execution and partnering with an executive team
  • Experience working in a growing Global Company with Canadian, American and international offices; and with knowledge of government financial and statutory regulations.
  • Prior experience with a manufacturing and distribution company would be an asset
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, and people management skills
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments, key business partners, and government agencies
  • High level of written and oral communication skills
  • Strong Business Acumen skills
  • A degree in Accounting, designation: CA, CGA, CMA, or CPA.
